"A 'small but perfectly formed' mini-festival, beautifully presented and run. Very welcoming and a joy to play at."  Fred Fellowes, Secret Garden Party founder.

We organized the Sundowner Festivals at Gog Magog Hills Farm Shop for two years in a row. The first in 2014 for 300 people, and the second in 2015 for 800, both were sellout events. The brief for 2015 was to create a one-day event that had all the energy, excitement and attractions of a much larger weekend festival, aimed at the 30-50 year old market (although all ages attended).  Essential to the site plan was a large domed stage, this was home to a selection of local talent for the afternoon. Headlining in the evening were The Hackney Colliery Band and CC Smugglers who we selected as the perfect crowd-pleasing, foot-stomping entertainment. We injected a bit of fun with the comedy caravan, where festival-goers could experience their very own close-up, stand-up show. Punters could also play the ultimate ‘Would you rather?’ game with the gorgeous Dilemma Girls, who roamed the site with giant light up question marks and their very special box of questions. We had our very own street of the best Cambridge food vans, including Steak and Honour, Guerilla Kitchen, Provinence, Jalan Jalan and The Churros Bar. We installed and ran three bars, one in a tipi, one in our Bedioun tent and one in the horsebox. The woods were decorated with coloured lanterns, an Absinthe bar, ribbons and flower garlands, and a hideout style DJ booth was created for our star DJ, The Head Gardner from Secret Garden Party.  Big hits were the beautiful hand-crafted fire pits with comfy couches and straw bales, and the glitter tent with free glitteration for all. Lasers lit up the night and enhanced the feeling of a large-scale festival.  We still love the fact that our decorations were called art installations in the Cambridge News, read the review here:
